A pair is facing a long list of charges after being accused of molesting an infant and recording it on video.
State Police say Richard Smith II and Roseanna Thompson both confessed.
Investigators say the child who was molested was Thompson's relative. They say the videos were made at a home in South Charleston three years ago.
"I wasn't really surprised," Morgan Smith, Richard's wife, said. "I had an idea that it was at least in the back of his mind."
Morgan says she'd only been married to Richard since early April.
"I never thought I would know somebody that could do something like this, never mind be married to them," she said.
Morgan says she and one of Richard's relatives were looking through discs at the couple's home in the Clifton area of Mason County when they came across child pornography that involved her husband.
"I saw the first ten seconds, if that, of a video, saw what it was, that it was a baby, and I had to put the computer down and walk out," Morgan said.
Morgan Smith says she called State Police to turn her husband in.
"Somebody had to," she said.
Troopers got a search warrant and say they found five videos of Richard Smith and his ex-girlfriend Roseanna Thompson molesting Thompson's young relative.
Kendall Beck lives across the street from Smith. Beck says it's especially sickening, knowing his own children played where the suspect could see them.
"To think he might have been videoing them and getting some kind of pleasure out of it, it's horrible," Beck said.
Beck also says a couple civilians got violent with Mr. Smith Tuesday moments before police arrived.
Morgan says she just hopes her husband and his ex never get an opportunity to harm any more kids.
"He's not going to be able to hurt anyone else as long as he's behind bars, and that's where he needs to be," Morgan said.

A pair is accused of molesting an infant in Kanawha County and recording it on video, according to court records.
Richard Smith II, 39, of Mason, is charged with eight counts of possession of child erotica.
Roseanna Thompson, 45, of Charleston, is facing several charges including sexual abuse first degree and sexual assault first degree.
Investigators say Smith II is Thompson's ex-girlfriend.
"The infant victim was physically helpless and well below the age of 12," the criminal complaint states.
The complaint says that back in 2015, the pair had custody of the infant girl at their home in the South Charleston area of Kanawha County. While in their care, troopers say the adults were molesting the little girl.
Troopers with West Virginia State Police (WVSP) searched the suspect's home in the Clifton area of Mason County with a warrant.
Investigators found nine discs in the home. They say five of those had videos that showed an infant being molested by a man and woman.
Troopers say the people molesting the girl in the video are Smith II and Thompson.
"These acts occurred repeatedly during the course of the videos," the criminal complaint states.
Troopers also found three nude photographs of someone they believe is the same little girl.
Officers arrested Smith II May 29 on unrelated warrants. He was later taken to the Mason detachment of WVSP to face additional charges for the alleged molestation.
Smith II is in the Western Regional Jail without bond.
Thompson was arrested and arraigned Wednesday.
