She Wanted Fish Dammit
Two people were charged after a shot was fired following an argument at a fish fry Saturday in Rock Hill, police said.
Rock Hill Police Department officers responded to a call of a person with a gun on Chestnut Street just before noon Saturday. The victim told police he was shot at as he jumped a fence to escape harm after a dispute over someone being at the home in the 500 block of Chestnut Street for the fish fry.
The victim told police that Sherelle Nicole Brown, 24, threatened him with a knife, then shot at him, according to a police report.
Officers saw a vehicle matching a description of the car they were told Brown left the fish fry in, a police reports states. Police saw a man get out of the car and throw something in the grass, the report says. Officers stopped the car and found that Brown was driving, then recovered a gun police said was dropped in the grass by Michael Joseph Hemphill, 35.
Brown was charged with attempted murder from the fish fry incident.
