Police Are Looking For A Man Who They Say Stabbed His Twin Sister To Death.

Haltom City detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for David Burnell Conditt, 58.

His sister, Dena Conditt Wright was found dead in the 5700 block of Macneill Drive just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning after responding to a welfare check.

Conditt is described as caucasian, 5’10” tall weighing 240 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.

He may be driving the victim’s vehicle, a red 2015 Toyota RAV4 with Texas license plate GMJ2896.

Anyone that knows the whereabouts of Conditt or the victim’s vehicle is asked to contact the Haltom City Police Department at 817281-1000 (Dispatch) or 817-222-7000.

Keli Stallings, a former classmate, said Conditt had bipolar disorder and Wright had been struggling with him (bathing.. medication etc). “She’s really struggled with him, but she’s taken care of him, all of his life,” Stallings said. “It’s just really, really sad. I just can’t believe this.”

According to Haltom City police, U.S. Marshals and deputies with the Charleston, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office took him into custody on August 19. Officials say Conditt was arrested without incident.

David Conditt is being held on a murder warrant in the Charleston County Detention Center pending his extradition back to North Texas.
