An unidentified man was killed in a pedestrian-involved vehicular crash Sunday night in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian, 23, of Kissimmee but not identified pending notification of next of kin, was attempting to cross U.S. Highway 192 without a crosswalk near the Old Town Boulevard intersection at 10:25 p.m., said FHP’s Lt. Kim Montes.
Jorge Roque Martinez, also 23 and of Kissimmee, was driving his 2003 Nissan Sentra east on U.S. 192 and didn’t see the pedestrian; the front of the Sentra struck the pedestrian, Montes said. The driver was not injured.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, Montes said.
