A Fayetteville man was arrested for beating, choking and locking his girlfriend in a closet after she refused to have sex with him.

On Thursday (Aug. 1) police were called to a home in Fayetteville where they found a woman with bruises up and down her arms, a swollen neck and fresh contusions on her face locked in a closet.

The woman told police her boyfriend Darius Anderson, 28, woke up early in the morning and wanted to have sex with her but she refused.

According to a police report, Anderson then became very agitated and slapped her. He and then grabbed her phone and asked her to unlock it so he could read her messages. When she refused, Anderson then began hitting her in the face with the phone, causing contusions on her forehead and around her eyes.

Police say Anderson then pushed his girlfriend into the closet and would not let her out.

While in the closet, Anderson pinned the woman down, put his hands around her throat and squeezed until she could barely breathe.

Anderson then kept his girlfriend’s phone, but she had another hidden away, so she was able to text a friend for help.

The friend then called the police, and when they arrived he was arrested for 3rd-degree domestic battery and kidnapping.

But truth be told, it's very hard to break the abuse cycle.

See that guys mugshot and his happy smiling face... He doesn't think he did anything wrong. Bet he convinces her that he loves her and it won't happen again so long as she stays in line, it won't.
Often women escape abuse then pick another abusive person. More importantly than fixing the abusive person, we as a nation (and world even) need to start fixing the people that keep choosing abusers.

Protip - This is how you can spot the really shallow & vain girls in mugshots. They can't help but smile rather than risk having a horrible picture of themselves out there somewhere.

So legislating for only low hanging fruit that poor life choices can be used as a weapon? As if wisdom can be shoved down our collective throats with a band-aide law ripe for exploitation and abuse.

Idiots are already artificially protected from natural selection so they can avoid corrective action. as if self-mutilation can become an entitlement that is worthy of protection and pity.

The ability to have lawful access to poor life choices is the only birth right the filthy rich and dirt poor share with equal impunity. At least until death corrects stupidity.

Problem is too many idiots spread the misery far and wide due to self centered skulduggery while Karma is robbed an organic teaching moment.

Go green and support Natural Selection and let loose Mother Nature's self-correction.

Some people live there because that’s all they can afford and they are drug free .. no offense intended but that’s really close minded idiocy .. I lived in the 5th Ward in Houston for years and made it completely drug free .. it’s what I could get by on..
