SKOKIE, Ill. — A suburban teacher was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a student.

I'm surprised it was a male doing the assault this time. We have had 10 times more female teachers doing the assaults than male teachers.

I have it in my head that males are more likely to do this sort of thing, but the amount of news articles I've read about female teachers being the perps tells me that I'm wrong.

Or maybe less males are reported. It's quite possible that the females get caught more often because the male students brag about it.

Same here.
Also, I always had a hard time believing women cheat. Holy hell. After reading this site for years, I now think most women are slutty bitches that can't be trusted.

@CalicoJack & @Keepalowprofile - my guess, it's still more men doing this overall, but it's far more titillating and click-baity when it's a woman as the predator.

You're probably right. Guys read those articles because it fulfills some adolescent fantasy that they had about their teachers.

I get it, I had a crush on the Spanish teacher (even though I never took Spanish) - but I'm not a kid anymore and I find it appalling when I read the stories. Teachers are in a position of trust, and they need to be protecting these children and not harming them.

There has to me more guys doing this because, like they're guys, right? :penguin:
I didn't mean that it was because they were men, I just meant that it's more "popular" these days to print the more interesting/thrilling story of the fallen woman. I kind of based it off of what I know from when I was in grade school on up, and what I hear/heard my high school/college age nieces saying. Maybe my perspective will change now that the nephew is in high school?
