A mother was arrested in Tulsa after police say they found 22 pounds of meth under the backseat her five children were sitting on.

Sunday night, Tulsa police pulled over a vehicle for speeding.

Police say at one point, they noticed something was wrong between the driver and the passenger.

“Appeared nervous, the story from the driver and the passenger about where the vehicle was going to or coming from, they weren’t matching up,” said Officer Jeanne Pierce with the Tulsa Police Department.

In the backseat, police found five small children, ages 4 to 10, and under their seat, 22 pounds of methamphetamine.

According to Tulsa police, the meth is worth about $80,000 on the streets.

The children’s mother, Jamie Hughes, was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on drug and child neglect complaints. Her passenger, Ricardo Bra, was also arrested and booked into jail on child neglect and drug complaints, as well as being held for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The children are now in protective custody.

"the story from the driver and the passenger about where the vehicle was going to or coming from, they weren’t matching up"

This is exactly why I don't answer these bullshit questions when pulled over by the police, as I know its nothing but an attempt to try and find a way to incriminate you and get you out of your car so they can search your car for even the most frivolous of infractions. Accepting the fact I'm no hot blonde with a nice rack popping out I'm getting no favors; I just always respond "This is completely irrelevant to the circumstances in which you pulled me over, could we please continue with the procedure?" They hate hearing it multiple times, but in all honesty where I'm coming from or where I'm going is none of their fucking business. I'm a tax paying citizen and have the right to drive the car I paid for, continue to pay registration, and insurance fees on. So they can write me a ticket or not and let me be on my way.

I hear you. I'm polite to cops— I've known a few and I know that not being an asshole goes a good ways with a lot of them— but I don't answer bullshit fishing questions. And I have a keen sense of the value of my time.

That said, I've no problem with cops tricking a half-wit meth mule into giving them probable cause. Especially a half-wit meth mule that had no more sense than to be speeding with 22 pounds of Redneck Boogie Powder in back with the kids.

In theory, you are 100% correct. But the damn cops are so fucking insecure that with even the slightest bit of sass and they go ape-shit! I have always thought about installing my own dash cam so these assholes know they’re being recorded too. From the moment the red and blues light up. Don’t hate all cops but there’s plenty of shitbirds out there. Can’t take a chance.

30 lbs of meth sounds like a lot. That's gotta be like what? Nearly three times the weight of your average meth head? They're an unusually strong bunch though. They can even lift up to ten times their body weight if they suspect theres drugs underneath whatever it is they're lifting. It's fascinating.

It is highly theorized that the energy of just one tweaker can power up to ten homes where the occupants often forget to turn off their lights. Before long windmills are going to be a thing of the past. Think tweaker sized hamster wheels.
