Security video recorded a woman shoving a 74-year-old man with a walker off a public transit bus in Las Vegas after he asked her to be nice to other passengers, and she's facing a murder charge after the man died, according to court documents.

Serge Fournier hit his head on a sidewalk in the March 21 incident, police said, and the Clark County coroner ruled his death on April 23 a homicide resulting from his injuries.

Cadesha Bishop was arrested on a murder warrant and was assigned a public defense attorney during her first court appearance.

A police report says Fournier was moving up the aisle of the Regional Transportation Commission bus when he asked a woman who had been cursing at other people to be nicer to passengers, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported .

Bishop was accused of shoving Fournier out the door "with enough force that he never touched any of the steps" before hitting his head about 8 feet (2.4 meters) from the bus.

The Las Vegas Sun reported that Bishop was identified in part by a "Love" emblem on her jacket and her son's distinctive Spider-Man backpack.

Court records show that Bishop was convicted twice, in 2014 and 2015, of misdemeanor domestic battery charges.

A Nevada woman was charged with murder after allegedly pushing an elderly man off a bus in March after he had asked her to be nicer to other passengers, witnesses told police.

Cadesha Bishop, 25, was arrested in the death of 74-year-old Serge Fournier. The incident occurred in downtown Las Vegas when the woman was allegedly yelling profanities at other bus passengers and pushed the man onto the sidewalk where he hit his head, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, citing an arrest report.

Bishop was arrested Monday in connection with the man’s death, which occurred about a month after the confrontation.

Bishop was accused of shoving Fournier out the bus door “with enough force that he never touched any of the steps.” Fournier was allegedly launched about 8 feet from the bus.

Fournier, who was bleeding from his head, told responding officers he was walking up the aisle when the incident occurred, according to the Review-Journal. He was asking the woman “to be nicer to passengers,” witnesses told authorities, the newspaper reported.

A hospice care worker found Fournier dead April 23, the Review-Journal reported, citing the arrest report. The Clark County Coroner’s Office determined Fournier died of complications from the incident and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the newspaper.

Bishop was identified in part by a “Love” emblem on her jacket and her son’s Spider-Man backpack, according to the Las Vegas Sun. She was seen in security footage walking away with the boy. The video hasn’t been made public.

Ha ha, had a neighbor like that when I was married. He got mad at my husband about some perceived slight. He was confronting my husband about it when he decided to go back to his house a couple of houses down and get on his karate outfit. I guess it doesn't work unless you are wearing the gie. :penguin:When my husband had not run back into the house to hide, the dude just went back home. That seems par for the course in most cases.

The video is brutal

@Satanica

They are trying to determine what made the degenerate push him.

Did he say something that upset her that can somehow make her the victim ( a racial epithet).

I don't care about her shitty upbringing or her low I. Q this bitch deserves to rot in jail.

I am pissed that no one on the bus beat the shit out of this bitch after she pushed him.

A woman charged with murder for pushing an elderly passenger off a bus to his death in Las Vegas has been released on bail.

Cadesha Bishop, 25, from Las Vegas, was free Wednesday after posting $100,000 bond, the New York Post reported.

She is now on high-level electronic monitoring ahead of her preliminary hearing on May 23. It wasn’t clear from the records on what day she was released.

Court records show that Bishop was convicted twice, in 2014 and 2015, of misdemeanor domestic battery charges.

How much you wanna make a bet she will be pregnant before she even goes to trial.

This what leads to the bystander effect: it’s better not to get involved if you put your own safety at risk. But someone there should’ve protected the old man from this overgrown bully.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t be pleased with an old white guy presuming to lecture me on my behavior. However I would not commit elder abuse, I think (be careful, Dad).

A woman accused of shoving a 74-year-old man off a bus in Las Vegas appeared briefly before a Las Vegas judge Thursday on a murder charge, but further proceedings were continued until July.

Cadesha Bishop, the 25-year-old woman arrested May 6 on a murder charge in the death of Serge Fournier, will have a preliminary hearing on July 17. She will remain on house arrest after being released on $100,000 bond.

Fournier died on April 23 from complications of blunt force injuries he suffered a month earlier, when he was pushed off a parked bus near Fremont and 13th streets.

A woman accused of pushing an elderly man off a bus to his death in 2019 has taken a plea deal. The man who died was 74-year-old Serge Fournier.
Cadesha Bishop was originally facing a murder charge and grand larceny charge for stealing a rental car. But she was later indicted on different charges including abuse and battery.

With this agreement she is pleading guilty to one count of abuse of an older/vulnerable person resulting in substantial or mental harm or death. The initial charges were 2 of that charge + battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.
