Who is right the parents or the medical professionals?

Hillsborough County couple at the center of a medical custody battle continued their fight outside Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Saturday.

Joshua McAdams and Taylor Bland-Ball rallied for their three-year-old son Noah who has leukemia. Earlier this week, they took the boy to Kentucky which sparked a search for them.

The couple tells News Channel 8 they were avoiding getting the boy chemotherapy. Noah has leukemia and his parents wanted to treat him with something other than what doctors recommended. They told us the chemo would be too tough on Noah's body.

"Since he's been with us, his health has completely gotten back to normal levels," McAdams said.

Wishful thinking or stupidity? The medical community has years and years of research and experience on their side, showing that chemo/radiation/medical treatments are beneficial....there is no scientific proof that "alternative" treatments do anything to help heal or cure diseases....so the parent's are either stupid or just kind of relying on prayers and wishes to cure their child.

I'm sure they love him, but its good the grandparents got custody and hopefully the little guy gets the treatment he needs.

The parents are idiot hipster fucktards.

Noah was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last month, according to his mother.

Rosemary, colloidal silver, vitamins B, B17 and C, collagen, reishi mushroom tea and grapefruit peel were among the home remedies his mother gave him, she (mother) wrote.

Parents want to try canabis treatments

The ruling marks the latest twist in the case of Noah McAdams, who was was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia back in April. After two rounds of chemotherapy, his parents Joshua McAdams and Taylor Bland decided they wanted to try a more natural, holistic approach.

Have the parents vaccinated their children?

I had to look up "holistic doula"
A Holistic Doula is a birth worker with the skills to heal as well as nurture. She offers the light of wellness from a balanced physical, mental, emotional and spiritual point of view and gives the families she serves an unconditional touch of loving care that is needed for a peaceful and joyful reception of new life!
I think someone who skips the New Age platitudes and instead makes a big pot of soup, washes some laundry, and vaccuums the house is better for a new mother's well being.

Once conventional treatment has been exhausted, I don't have a problem with trying alternatives.
Or in addition to. If you want to take vitamins and herbs, or use crystals in addition to the chemo, go right ahead.

I'm actually not against alternative medicine in general. For myself, I usually start with a natural remedy, and if it does not work, I'll move on to modern medicine. But I don't have cancer. There are some situations where you have to draw the line and jump straight to modern medicine.

Sometimes I wonder if parents reject conventional treatment because it makes them feel bad to see their child suffer. It takes enormous strength to support your child through the brutality of chemo, especially if the kid’s too young to really understand why it’s necessary.

Maybe that’s why some parents don’t vaccinate— they hate seeing their baby cry. It’s easier to decide you know better than the doctors.

On the bright side, now these parents get to tell their kid his suffering is the court’s fault.

My wife does energy healing for others, but does not depend on that for a cure. We go to the doctor regularly. She had hernia surgery in December. The energy healing is in addition to regular medical care. Don't know if I quite believe it in, but others do. She has people willing to pay $45 for a 30 minute session once a week. I'm fine with the additional money.

My friend in India also does that and it has helped me when my own remedies aren't working. I have mostly called on him for minor injuries that don't want to heal, and it has helped. It can take more than one go at it depending.

I had been waking up in the night because my tendonitis would start to hurt if I was laying on that side. Not only does that no longer happen (after months of this healing), the after effects from me over using it are way less severe now. It's hard not to overuse it since I'm right handed. And before you say it just healed on it's on after months, I had suffered from this for years before and nothing helped. If I over used that right arm, I would be in pain for days after and now that just doesn't happen. Now I only experience a slight discomfort and never wake with it during the night. In fact, now I like going to sleep on that side.

Recently, he helped with a deeply bruised ankle which I had hit on a chair. It just wouldn't heal and would swell up during the day when I was on my feet. It was really bad one night and I was shocked to see it was swollen to several times the size of the other one and I could barely walk that night. He did his thing and the swelling went down that night and I was without pain all the next day except I made the mistake of walking a half mile, so I had a slight relapse but nothing like what I was expecting to suffer. After that it continued to improve and is not bothering me at all now.

I feel it's more than coincidence when a condition improves dramatically after he sends this healing. He does have to have the person's permission and requests that they be open to and meditate on the healing if possible. He doesn't charge for his services.

I agree with you on the healing part. My wife also has to have permission. She has never charged before, but she is having so many requests and people want to pay her. She has told them so far to just pay what they feel it's worth to them. She has received anywhere from $50 to $150.

This is more than parents wanting alternative treatment. This bitch has been been on my radar for a long time due to promoting freebirth and doxxing medical professionals.
They watched him get sicker and sicker over weeks and did nothing. Finally his grandparents were able to see him and forced them to immediately rush him to hospital. He had almost no blood left in his body and was hours away from death. The hospital gave him FIVE blood transfusions and flew him to a bigger hospital. They didn't think he would survive the medivac.
He did. He had two treatments the parents were forced to allow under threat of cps. As soon as they got a chance they absconded with him. They did not seek alternative treatments or second opinions. They were going to hole up somewhere and watch him die. They pulled his fucking piccline out themselves. They are fucking evil and want to kill him.

Why trust medical professionals when there are alternatives?

More commonly known as amygdalin. It was used as a cancer medication in the 1920s, but was determined to be too toxic so its use was discontinued. Researchers developed a semi-synthetic form of amygdalin, and marketed it as Laetrile.

Laetrile is absolutely ineffective as a cancer treatment.

Parents want to try canabis treatments

Having worked at an acute care cancer clinic, thankfully without paediatric patients (I'm a coward - I wouldn't have lasted a week there with kidlets), I'm actually a believer in alternative treatments; however, with the current success rate for CURE in babas with ALL, parents using rosemary oil and Reiki alone without supervision or traditional medication need to be rounded up and tied down until little is better and any recurrence is eliminated. Jmo.

I also wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if they had found an actual formal study they could put him in. Just to do it by the seat of your pants would scare the hell out of me. I wouldn't be that confident.
