A Little Rock social worker specializing in anger management is accused of fatally shooting a former Saint Mark Baptist Church pastor and injuring his wife in their west Tennessee apartment on Thursday, authorities said.

According to an affidavit filed by Collierville, Tenn. police, 39-year-old Latoshia Shunta Daniels arrived at an apartment belonging to Brodes and Tabatha Perry at the Meridian Parks Apartments, 1681 Elkstone Place South, at about 9:30 p.m. Tabatha Perry, 42, who was alone at the time, let Daniels in because she knew Daniels from when she and her husband lived in Little Rock, the document said.

The two talked for about half an hour before Brodes Perry, 36, who then served as a pastor at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, came home and, soon after, followed his wife and Daniels to the front door, authorities said.

That was when Daniels reportedly drew a handgun from her jacket and shot Brodes Perry multiple times in his head and torso, repeatedly yelling, “You broke my heart,” police said.

Daniels then shot Tabatha Perry in the shoulder as she knelt beside her husband, the affidavit states. According to officers, Daniels removed the gun’s magazine and began to reload it with ammunition she pulled from her jacket pocket when Collierville police arrived shortly before 10:30 p.m.

According to a police report of the shooting, officers ordered Daniels to drop the gun and, when she didn’t comply, an officer shot her with a “less lethal” shotgun and authorities took her into custody.

"Why the fuck would you put wine in a Pringles can?
"We needed the box for something else."
"The box?!? For what else?"
"You don't want to know."
Because...life goals my friend. Life goals.

"...Daniels removed the gun’s magazine and began to reload it with ammunition she pulled from her jacket pocket when Collierville police arrived ..."

So either this played out over a lot longer time period than I was thinking, or the Collierville PD has one hell of a response time.
