Singer Keith Flint of The Prodigy Dead At 49

Keith Flint, singer for British electronic group The Prodigy, has died at the age of 49. He was found unresponsive in his home in Essex in the United Kingdom and the band's official Instagram page confirmed the frontman took his own life.

"We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8:10AM on Monday [March 4]," an Essex Police spokesperson said in a statement (via CNN). The statement continued, "We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

"The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend. I’m shell shocked, fuckin angry, confused and heart broken ..... r.i.p brother Liam," said the Instagram post, seen below.

How fucking odd. I was just watching some of their videos the other night. Not a big fan of the group (not my genre of music), but I love The Fat of the Land. It is like a nostalgia bomb whenever I hear anything off of it. It came out during a very strange time in my life.

Or your life may continue to suck. Suck even more than it does today. So if your done, don't feel ashamed about quitting. Sometimes life just isn't worth living - especially for anyone living in chronic, un-treatable pain. Just don't hurt anyone else or leave a mess for someone else to clean up. Be considerate.

True Morbid, my own mind went there multiple times with the pain levels I had while waiting for surgery, and I taken no issue with those who're suffering endless pain, or progressive/terminal illnesses in choosing their right to die peacefully while they're still able to make that decision before total deterioration of body or mind.

And now some self - righteous asshole will start a tirade about people committing suicide being selfish cowards. Well, if you want a person who is suffering terribly and contemplating suicide to just keep on living because of you, than you're selfish. Also, how is taking your own life cowardly? Our views on suicide have changed immensely since Socrates. Anyway, poor mofo. Who knows what horrors tortured him. I wonder who's next.
