An Indiana man who's previously faced prison time for failing to inform his sexual partners he’s HIV positive has apparently done so again -- pleading guilty to malicious mischief Monday in St. Joseph County.

Travis Spoor, 39, entered a plea agreement after he was charged in January. A second count was dismissed due to the plea.

Spoor faces up to two years in prison and a possible fine of $10,000, the South Bend Tribune reported.

He seems to be a repeat offender.

In October 2016, Spoor was charged with two counts of malicious mischief in Marshall County. He was subsequently sentenced to 18 months in prison and then 18 months home detention, which he is currently still serving, according to the South Bend Tribune.

Then, in July 2017, Spoor was again charged with malicious mischief -- but this time in Allen County. He was sentenced to “one year in prison with 54 days of credit after entering a plea agreement,” the newspaper reported.

Court records reviewed by The Associated Press show the 39-year-old met women online and would later have unprotected sex with them, withholding his HIV positive status.

Spoor’s sentencing for his most recent offense is scheduled for March 7.

1.) That Spoor is an asshole. They probably spelled his name wrong. It should be Spore because he is the fungus that grows on wet, rotting, feces.

2.) This is a harsh reminder of the dangers of unprotected sex. Just say no.

3.) Why is the sentencing so minimal? Especially after doing it as many times as this fuck has done it?

4.) Misery certainly loves the shit out of company. I wonder how long it will be before he does it to the wrong one and gets an educational beat down or worse? We’ll probably be seeing him again.

Because people should not be out there fornicating? Just a guess at the morals police's attitude. Also, while he put people at risk, it is possible that he did not actually pass the disease on to anybody. One can hope.

I really hope they got lucky and they didn’t get it. I also hope they learned a valuable lesson.

I sincerely hope he gets kicked in balls. :)

Nice to see things have changed. I was dating a guy for several months in 2001 and discovered paperwork in the glovebox of his car, listing HIV medications. From 3 years prior.... He admitted it when I confronted him. I ended up going to the police to report it, spoke with special victims officers, and was basically told there was nothing they could charge him with, because the unprotected sex was consensual. Went for testing for a year afterwards. Fortunately, I am healthy, but I learned a hell of a lesson.

Asshole. I remember one guy I dated (30 years ago, I’m old) refused to wear a condom. He was from the generation where the worst you could get was herpes but I was a teen in the 80s when HIV seemed unstoppable.

We did some naked wrestling but never introitus. No glove, no love dude.
