A 14-year-old and her 12-year-old sister were arrested for stabbing and shooting their mother to death – a brutal payback after they were punished for trying to run her over with the family car, neighbors and officials said.

The teen, Amariyona Hall, and her younger sister were taken into custody late Friday after deputies in Pike County responded to the family’s mobile home in Magnolia, where Erica Hall, a 32-year-old mother of four, was found stabbed multiple times and shot once in the chest with a handgun, authorities said.

Emergency workers tried resuscitate Hall, whose relatives found her bloodied outside her home just minutes earlier, but she could not be saved. Investigators then zeroed in on Hall’s daughters, Pike County Sheriff Kenny Cotton told the McComb Enterprise Journal.

“They found out the daughters – two teenagers, juveniles – allegedly did it,” Cotton said, adding that both girls are now scheduled for mental evaluations. “They’re charged with murder and we’re going to apply the law.”

Cotton said deputies reported that Friday’s attack followed an incident days earlier in which the teens tried to run Hall over with the family’s car. That prompted Hall to punish
the girls, leading them to respond with the fatal assault, according to investigators.

It wasn't bad enough that the poor woman lived in a bleak environment and worked at a friggin' chicken plant. She got stabbed in the back by two of her ungrateful offspring. I don't know what the woman was like, but that's a sad end for someone who worked her ass off to support her family.

Snuff them out they're not fit to live. They will never be able to reenter Society because they just don't have the fundamental basics in place of human decency. It is something that they won't be able to be talk because frankly I doubt they have the mental capacity to absorb it. Their response to unpleasant stimuli is excessive. Therefore that forfeited their lives.

Multiple punctures to their body then roll a car over them.
Horrible little cunts.

I'm 38 and one of my go to penalty's for my kids it to take away their "electronics". My oldest (13) is the only one with a phone. Now I've seen some articles that says you shouldn't do this because to someone that age the phone is too crucial to their existence and that taking it away is way more traumatic to them than we would perceive. This case, however, is more likely about a lot more than her taking away their phones. Time will tell.

I have a feeling that when the reasons for the violence are finally released, it's going to make me facepalm and think 'Fuck me... Really???'

If taking the phone away is too traumatic then the damage is done and you definitely need to remove the phone/ drug.
What's traumatic to an adolescent or teen is just inconvenience to the rest of us.
Since pay phones are rare these days, I can the why a minor should have the most basic cellphone. With limited texting. They will survive just fine even while they whine about it.

At best, they will only be in prison till age 21. They’d better get a shit ton of really good therapy before they’re released. I wouldn’t trust them around small children ever.

I disagree. My stepdaughter took to skipping school (missing 20 days in a quarter), sneaking out late at night, eventually even forging state documents to hide her school records/report cards. I put her on lockdown: took her phone, canceled her social life, and keep a VERY close eye on her. She knows I mean business and is too petrified of my old school stern parenting versus the peer pressure that led her to putting herself at risk. The problem IS SOCIAL MEDIA. Once I limited that, she has improved.

There is no evidence that NOT using social media or texting has any negative impact on anyone of any age.
There is plenty of evidence that using social media is completely useless, especially to young people.

There's got to be more to this story. Two kids don't randomly make repeated attempts on their mother's life just because they're brats.

No fucking way .... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Good for you for deciding for yourself what is Crucial for your children. Its healthy to set limits on kids phone use everyday ... not just when they're bad though. I wonder if she was paying for the phones ... or of she tried to take them away because they got them from pimps or SD's.

When my daughter was s young teen, all her friends were getting phones and texting, signing up on sites they had no business being in etc.

My daughter didn't get a phone.
She had a horse, a tractor, a riding lawn mower and lots of chores.
We also had no TV piped in. We had a big TV with DVDs and Netflix. Books. Lots of books. We had a deal.
If she read to me while I cooked, and would read to me while I washed up she was 100% relieved of any kitchen duties.
Did she hate me? I think so.
Does she hate me now? No.
She loves me. She loves me because I gave her the tools she needs to have a good life.
She's in Brazil right now having a kick ass time. All her friends with the phones. One is dead and most of the others are single moms working at dairy Queen, McDonald's etc.

Here's a text I got from her a couple of days ago

I guess what I'm saying, you plan for what you get.
I don't think this mom planned to get murdered. But I don't think she did much planning not to.

That's another example of what happens when you take the paddles out of the schools.
Yes, violence is the answer. Especially when, for instance, your mom takes your phone away.

Wait, what? She took away their phones when they tried to RUN HER OVER??
Why weren't the police involved? They had already tried to kill her and she thought she could handle it herself. Wow :banghead:

I have not run across that part of the story elsewhere though, so it's hard to say. There may have been some misinformation involved. I would like clarification as well.

The phones were taken away as punishment for other behavior. As retaliation, the girls tried to run her over with the car. Mom didn't press charges against the girls, which led to her death because unbeknownst to mom, they weren't done with her yet. Stab, shoot, kill.

“When I went over there, she was laying on her back with both of her fists balled up, eyes open, so you could tell she was trying to fight them back,” Lenoir told the AP. “That was a terrible sight. That messed me up, and to think that her kids did that.” Lenoir said the girls were calm, but something seemed unusual. “They seemed weird. The girls, they came over here straight-faced, like nothing had ever happened,” he said.

Execution or LWOP. That's it. If it were up to me, I'd walk Ammonia out into the field and put a bullet in the back of her head.
