Cape Coral, FL - I don't think I have ever seen so many charges laid upon anyone ever. Daniel and Jenise Spurgeon have been quite busy. They face a total of 698 charges between them.

These two disgusting creatures were wanted in Alabama for child abuses charges and somehow managed to move to Florida without being noticed. They have at least 11 foster and adopted children.

The children were forced to drink, two of them found to be publicly intoxicated at a restaurant in Florida. They are being accused of physically abusing the children as well sexually abusing four of the girls.

The couple have charges pending in now both Alabama and Florida for the years of abuse. The children are now in the care of Alabama authorities as that's where they came from initially.

The list of charges are as follows:

Daniel W. Spurgeon:
2 Counts- Sexual Abuse of a Child Under 12
115 Counts- Sexual Abuse 1st
122 Counts- Child Abuse
4 Counts- Sodomy 1st
4 Counts- Sexual Torture
3 Counts- Domestic Violence by Strangulation and/or Suffocation
6 Counts- Rape 1st
115 Counts- Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes
6 Counts- Incest
11 Counts- Human Trafficking 1st

Jenise R. Spurgeon:
100 Counts- Child Abuse
1 Count- Domestic Violence by Strangulation and/or Suffocation
11 Counts- Human Trafficking 1st
100 Counts- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
100 Counts- Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes

Holy fuck! The amount is just staggering.

How are these people able to adopt children?? Although, looking at their FB, they seem completely normal. Mom hasn't posted since 2014, but talking about baking cookies and going to the kids' swim meet. Hiding in plain sight....

They will be convicted of all charges but will be sentenced concurrently on all of them, thus they will be out in 2 years for the slut and 8 years for the dude.

Why would anyone want their children to be drunk in public or at home? Seems like more trouble and risk than it's worth.

She looks highly affronted that they have dared to charge her with all that.

If there are eleven victims that's over 63 charges per child, averaged out. Unbelievable.

Getting kids drunk in public is just begging to be caught. These two aren't exactly the brightest crayons in the box.

A judge set bail at $2 million for a former Alabama foster mother accused of more than 300 crimes against adopted and foster children.

For Jenise Spurgeon to be released from the Lauderdale County Detention Center, $500,000 of the bond must be posted in cash. Spurgeon also would have to surrender her passport and remain in Alabama, District Judge Carole Medley said in an order. Spurgeon appeared in Medley's courtroom on Tuesday for a hearing.

Jenise Spurgeon's charges include 100 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, 100 counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes, 100 counts of child abuse, 11 counts of human trafficking and one counts of domestic violence by strangulation.

Daniel Spurgeon is jailed in Florida on charges acquired in that state. Florence authorities are trying to have him extradited to Alabama, where he is charged with 115 counts of first-degree sex abuse, 122 counts of child abuse, four counts of first-degree sodomy, four counts of sexual torture, three counts of domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation, six counts of first-degree rape, 115 counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes, six counts of incest and 11 counts of first-degree human trafficking.

A preliminary hearing for Jenise Spurgeon is set for May 24 at 9 a.m.

A former foster parent is back in Lauderdale County facing dozens of charges and pleading not guilty in court.

Daniel Spurgeon was extradited to Florence from Florida on Friday. He faces 76 charges of sexual torture, sodomy, rape, child abuse, and human trafficking. His wife, Jenise Sprugeon, also faces charges of child abuse and human trafficking. The couple is accused of abusing foster kids left in their care while they lived in Florence.

The 55 page Grand Jury indictment lays out exactly what Daniel Sprugeon is accused of doing to his victims. Some of his victims were in court as he plead not guilty to these 76 charges by reason of mental defect.

Daniel Spurgeon is part of a secretive religious order that is called "The Way".

He was a preacher, pastor or minister for the organization. The pastors brainwash people for a living.

Turns out that Jenise Spurgeon was a pastor for the same secretive religious sect. The Alabama organization is run by a man named Richard Gasser.

This group forbids its pastors from marrying. Daniel and Jenise were preachers for the organization. They left that "ministry" and got married.
They may have molested kids while ministers.

The overseers for the organization have moved their preachers from one county to another county or state to avoid prosecution before.

Jerome Frandle, a leader of the sect in Michigan was convicted of failing to report child sexual abuse by Darren Briggs, one of their pastors.

Welcome jimmy. You seem familiar with this case. I hope it’s not for reasons like being a victim.
Thank you for your input. It’s always helpful to have someone add to the news reports that have some first/second hand knowledge of what is happening.
Please keep us posted and again, thank you.

Im going to stand by my previous sentencing guesstimate.

Daniel Spurgeon is part of a secretive religious order that is called "The Way".

Only the stupid and deserving get brainwashed.

Where did you get this info btw? Please post more details.

Actually the stupid and deserving don't get brainwashed. They often do the brainwashing.
Ok, here are more details.
Daniel Spurgeon most likely sold everything he had and gave it to the leader of the religion because that is there qualification to become a pastor of theirs. They don't even check to see if you know the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their preachers are forbidden to marry. The religious organization was started by a man named William Irvine in about 1897 in Scotland and Ireland.

For some reason Daniel Spurgeon left the group and married Jenise. Quite a few of the preachers molest kids. So the question many have is "Did Daniel Spurgeon molest kids while a preacher?" There are several people who would know this. One of them is the overseer of the religious organization Richard Gasser. There are other people, compadre overseers and also underlings to Richard Gasser. Here are a few names: Gilbert Reese, Charlie Kerr, Philip Farris, Dale DeRaad, Charles Vaughn, Tanner Shoman, Randy Satterfield, Greg Harger, Barry Barkley, Charles Thain, Stanley March, Loren Spellman, and others...

This is public information. if you research secretive religious orders

Richard Gasser has a workers list, a list of all the preachers. If a person were to look at the workers list for Alabama for the years Daniel Spurgeon was a preacher, then they would know who he was preaching with. A person could interview/interrogate that preacher. And also ask Richard Gasser if he did a background check before Daniel Spurgeon was made a preacher. And did Richard Gasser properly register his religious order with the appropriate agencies and pay taxes on the money he took from Daniel? Does Richard Gasser even pay taxes?

Olivia,
Sorry to say I was a victim of this religious order. I believe these people will kill to get money and/or protect their secrecy and criminal activities.

No place better to prey on weak souls than a good cult!
The preachers sometimes go to other churches to rope in new marks. The best marks for them are people with money who don't know the Bible. Or people who don't know their Bible but are friends with people who have money. Or people who don't know their Bible who will have access to money when their parents die or are killed.

These people get together to recite things their preachers have told them. They believe people must only fellowship in homes called "Sunday morning meetings". Anyone who doesn't go to their Sunday morning meetings are going to hell according to their preachers.

Jimmy, I am saddened and sickened that you know the evils of this cult, this "religious order", at first hand; and I pray you are seeking care for the hurts you have endured.

I will welcome anything you choose to share, though I understand well that you paid a hideous price for the knowledge you have and that revisiting the circumstances under which you got that knowledge can cause as much pain as acquiring that knowledge in the first place. Anything you choose to share will be accepted with gratitude and humility.

I love you @Alf.

I got that sense and I’m sorry to hear it confirmed. I agree with what @Alf wrote you only he is far more eloquent than I could ever hope to be.
Peace to you.

In the beginning of this group, some individuals believed that they should go out in pairs, preaching the gospel as the 12 apostles who were sent by Jesus Christ to the Jews. They claimed to follow Matthew 10. So they took 1 set of clothes (the ones they wore), sold everything and gave it to William Irvine to go preach. They called them "go preachers" and also "tramp preachers" due to having 1 set of clothes (makes for hard washing). Some quit, but William Irvine got wealthy. So William Irvine's scam was born. He got rich and his preachers got poor, sick and confused. Soon William Irvine began preaching that his preachers were the apostles of Jesus Christ and all other preachers were of Satan. These early preachers of William Irvine got removed from the gospel of Jesus Christ because they were deceived by William Irvine and by themselves. They didn't search the scriptures to understand whether what William Irvine was teaching was scriptural.

The conditions for this movement, what gave it fertile ground, was many preachers in the area didn't love their congregation and were not teaching all the scriptures. So the church goers were ignorant of scripture and in their discontent became ripe candidates for an evil scam.

I was raised in this religion as a child and thought it was normal. Because children learn from their parents what is right and wrong. It is their responsibility of parents to teach their children.

And Daniel Spurgeon's actions are a reflection of the teaching, preaching and behavior of Richard Gasser.

It should be noted that while the preachers of this religious order may claim many things, practically all of their claims are lies. The do not follow Matthew 10. Matthew 10 was intended for the 12 Jewish apostles, disciples of Jesus Christ, instructions for a time to go to the lost sheep of Israel, to the Jews, performing healings, raising dead, healing sick and so on. These preachers of Richard Gasser do none of that.
I am told that Richard Gasser, while employing all these preachers, is doing all of this under the table, illegally. They are not subcontractors, but are working as employees. He is not paying social security on them, workman's comp, unemployment insurance and so on.

And the authorities have not investigated all this illegal activity, but continue on as if it is OK.

You may think that what Daniel and Jenise Spurgeon have done is horrible. And that is true. But it is only one account that you have read of. Many atrocities have been committed by these scam artists, and until the people who are supposed to be enforcing the law do something, they will continue to destroy the lives of literally hundreds of thousands of children.

If you know people in law enforcement, please talk with them and ask them why they are not investigating this organization. I have come to the conclusion that law enforcement is being paid by a fixer, to look the other way. Will you help me expose this group? Many children are abused, mentally, physically and sexually as a result of their teachings and what is being done? Please talk with your local law enforcement. I can provide more details and the inner operation of the group if you would like to hear more.
