Last week, Turner was sentenced to six months in Elmwood Jail, in Milpitas, California, where the majority of the 3500 inmates are housed in military barracks and tents.

However, this website learned that the convicted rapist is being kept away from the general prison population and enjoys a cell to himself.

This ass needs Gen pop in the worst way.

From @Valasca 's link

The mother of former Stanford University swimmer Brock Turner anticipated the outrage her son would face after being convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman on campus.

In an anguished letter to Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky prior to her son’s sentencing, Carleen Turner pleaded for mercy, saying sending him to jail would be “a death sentence.”

“I beg of you, please don’t send him to jail/prison. Look at him. He won’t survive it. He will be damaged forever and I fear he would be a major target. Stanford boy, college kid, college athlete -- all the publicity,” Carleen Turner wrote in her statement, which was among the court documents made public today. “This would be a death sentence for him.”

A jury found Turner, 20, guilty in March of three felonies: assault with intent to commit rape of an intoxicated-unconscious person, penetration of an intoxicated person and penetration of an unconscious person. He was sentenced to six months in jail and three years of probation by Persky last week, sparking national uproar from critics who questioned why Turner received such little prison time.

Turner must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He plans to appeal his conviction and is expected to be released three months early on Sept. 2.

In her letter to the judge, Carleen Turner insisted her son “has lived an exemplary life” and was on a path to success at Stanford, all of which she said has been “shattered” by the guilty verdicts. Carleen Turner's letter does not mention the victim.

“He has never been in trouble, never even had a demerit in high school, he studied, swam worked hard,” the mother wrote. “His dreams have been shattered by this. No NCAA Championships. No Stanford degree, no swimming in the Olympics (and I honestly know he would have made a future team), no medical school, no becoming an Orthopedic surgeon.”

Carleen Turner also described how the trial has “destroyed” her family.

“I know what a broken heart feels like. It is a physical pain that starts just below the collar bone and extends to below the rib cage, it is a crushing and heavy ache that feels like I am being squeezed. This feeling has not left my body since the verdict. This verdict has destroyed us,” she wrote.

Carleen Turner said she and her husband are a “working middle-class couple with Midwestern values” who had recently downsized their house to ease their financial burdens. Her two other children have collectively accumulated $150,000 in student loan debt, Carleen Turner said, because she and her husband were unable to pay for college tuition. Brock Turner had been awarded a 60 percent swimming scholarship by Stanford University prior to his expulsion over the sexual assault case.

“There have been many references to Brock being from a wealthy, privileged background and he thinks he is entitled. Your honor, this could not be further from the truth,” Carleen Turner said in her statement to the judge. “We do NOT come from money, rather the opposite.”

Its all about them.

Great, so throw your two other children under the financial bus. How much you bet it always has been about their star athlete fuck wad kid? Assholes. No way I'd fuck over Bonnie because Fiona was stupid. I hate family dynamics like this.

I wonder if your broken heart feels anything like pine needles and dirt that's been shoved into your vagina by a rapist while you're unconscious?

USA Swimming, the national governing body of competitive swimming, announced earlier today that it has banned Brock Turner for life from competing in events sanctioned by the organization. Although Turner’s membership with the organization expired at the end of 2014, before he committed the crimes, the move blocks him from being eligible for one ever again. Swimmers must be a member of USA Swimming to compete in sanctioned events, including the upcoming U.S. Olympic Trials that select the Olympic team every four years.

Could you give an explination on this appeal.
Could he be sentenced to more time during this process or is the jail time he got is it.?
Is the appeal to try and take away the order to register as a sex offender?

The appeal takes you, essentially, back to square one. New trial, for all intents and purposes. He could very well be sentenced to more time. Or, he could be acquitted. Or, somewhere in between.

Given the amount of press this story has received, I think his family is foolish to appeal such a generous sentence. I think it will likely result in more time, should they go through with it. And, after Joe Biden's letter to the victim, I'm not sure they will. The world is on the victim's side. They will have hell finding an impartial jury. At this point, I think they'll let it ride.

But the hubris of the privileged never ceases to amaze me, so who knows.

I wonder, why wouldn't that be double jeopardy? He's already been sentenced.
I really have no clue what I'm talking about.

Double jeopardy only applies to the prosecution. It prevents them from re-trying a defendant following a legit conviction (or acquittal). The prosecution cannot try, and try, and try a defendant until they get the result they're looking for. The government has, essentially, unlimited resources that could tie a defendant up forever.

A defendant, on the other hand, as practically unlimited appeals, in the event new evidence comes to light that reverses their guilt.
[doublepost=1465694248,1465692976][/doublepost]On a side note, this... This repugnant little fuck sent a snapchat photo of the victim's breasts to friends...

And he wants to blame his actions on fucking alcohol?! No. NO. That's a conscious, douchebag move, showing zero compassion for the victim.

OH god the mom is just as bad as the dad. I got a ton of demerits in highschool. That has nothing to do with the character and morale I have today.

I really don't give a shit if the rapists family is rich or poor, they obviously have absolutely no empathy for the victim and Brock is their "golden child".

The family is such disgusting trash. I really don't see the relevance of their letters. I don't understand why a judge would even read them.

Just when I think he can't get any more repulsive or scummier, he manages to top himself. Way to go Brocksy 'ol boy!

The vile text he sent along with the photo of his victim's breasts states: 'Who's tits are those?' [sic]. This is the grammar of someone who is attending one of the world's most prestigious institutions? What a glowing recommendation for their university!

He looks like such a creeper to me, I don't see the boyish all American 'aw shucks' kind of guy his supporters say he is. I think he resembles James Holmes, the Aurora movie theater killer.

Former Stanford swimmer Brock Turner has been banned from USA Swimming for life

What a great message.

If I had a rapist or pedophile or premeditated murderer, or wife basher in my family - I'd let them fucking rot and save themselves.

That takes courage. It takes a strong person to face reality

when they're stuck in the denial game and that's where these parents are.

But I get you...I would take my kids home and beat the fuck out of them on the

front lawn...and that's never happened at our house before, but I could see

it in these circumstances.

Double jeopardy

Fracture was a good movie about that.

Fracture was a good movie about that.

It does take courage. And there are some in my family who i feel, would probably ostracize me for taking that approach. But fuck it. I have to live my life and deal with my consequences - and I couldn't face supporting someone so heinous, blood or not. That sounds so damn arrogant of me lol. Don't get me wrong :D that courage would work in this scenario, and probably fail me when it counts in another situation ha ha. I'm not Superman.

Blood or not, you simply have to choose what it is that you can live with an accept. While I'm insanely loyal to the people I love, blood only ever goes so far. And I'd expect nothing less, should I ever do something unforgivable, from the people who love me.
[doublepost=1466163739][/doublepost]Thanks @Forensicwx and @Athena for that information. I'm relieved to see both of your posts.

Frankly I'm kind of hoping they'll push through to a full appeal/re trial. I hope if they do, I can find a way to access the footage of the trial online. I'd love to see this monster and his asshole family get their just desserts.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/brock-turner-case-documents-detail-220053180.html

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Judge Aaron Persky said he believes the former Stanford swimmer's claims that he "remembered consent" during his sexual encounter with his the unconscious victim behind a dumpster at a fraternity party in January 2015.

"Mr. Turner, in his state of intoxication, sees the events in a certain way," Perky says. He added, "I mean, I take him at his word that, subjectively, that's his version of events," Persky said. "The jury, obviously, found it not to be the sequence of events."

"I think you have to take the whole picture in terms of what impact imprisonment has on a specific individual's life," he said. "And the impact statements have been – or the, really, character letters that have been submitted do show a huge collateral consequence for Mr. Turner based on the conviction."

"So you have Mr. Turner expressing remorse, which I think, subjectively, is genuine, and [the victim] not seeing that as a genuine expression of remorse because he never says, 'I did this. I knew how drunk you were. I knew how out of it you were, and I did it anyway.' And that – I don't think that bridge will, probably, ever be crossed," Persky said, according to the sentencing transcript.

I picked the judge's quotes out of the article. What I think the judge is getting at is that this poor remorseful boy was drunk and shouldn't be held accountable for what he did.

BULLSHIT!

"And the impact statements have been – or the, really, character letters that have been submitted do show a huge collateral consequence for Mr. Turner based on the conviction."

Nice slip up judge. Because impact statements are from the VICTIM, not the family of the now convicted rapist about how their lives are shattered.

Which is why he stumbled over those few words.

Unbelievable

"Sorry not sorry, lol!"

That is EXACTLY it.

"Mr. Turner, in his state of intoxication, sees the events in a certain way," Perky says. He added, "I mean, I take him at his word that, subjectively, that's his version of events,"

That's the problem, you stupid cunt. The problem is that men often "see the events in a certain way." They see a woman saying "No" but meaning "Yes". They see the slightest shred of inebriated consciousness as a ticket to ride as long as she smiled once at some point. They see the act of conversation as an invitation. And they believe that's okay. Justified. They're not being a bad person.

Yes, judge, they "see events in a certain way." It is the reason they assault us. And it will never change if this is how judges respond.

"I think you have to take the whole picture in terms of what impact imprisonment has on a specific individual's life," he said. "And the impact statements have been – or the, really, character letters that have been submitted do show a huge collateral consequence for Mr. Turner based on the conviction."

So because being found guilty is going to lose this young man so much, we should go easy on him?

Noblesse oblige is clearly an alien concept to his surroundings.

Former Stanford student Brock Turner is expected to be released from jail on Friday after three months in jail for sexual assault.

The 21-year-old, convicted earlier this year and sentenced to six months, is scheduled to go free on Sept. 2, according to Santa Clara County jail records.

Prosecutors had asked for six years after the former swimmer was found sexually assaulting a young woman behind a dumpster near Stanford’s campus.

The six months punishment handed down by Judge Aaron Persky drew widespread outrage, though Turner is slated to be out in half that time.

Been meaning to post this.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/25/us/brock-turner-aaron-persky-judge-reassigned/

(CNN)At his own request, the California judge facing a recall effort for his handling of a sexual assault case involving a Stanford student will no longer hear criminal cases.

Judge Aaron Persky, a Stanford alum, has come under harsh criticism since sentencing Brock Turner to six months in county jail for assaulting an unconscious woman outside a fraternity party. Prosecutors had asked for a six-year prison sentence for the January 2015 assault.
A source familiar with the judge's thinking said Persky wanted to step aside in part because he didn't want cases before him to receive unfair and unwarranted national attention.
Effective September 6, Persky will hear cases in the civil division, Presiding Judge Risë Jones Pichon said in a statement.

"While I firmly believe in Judge Persky's ability to serve in his current assignment, he has requested to be assigned to the civil division, in which he previously served," he said.
"Judge Persky believes the change will aid the public and the court by reducing the distractions that threaten to interfere with his ability to effectively discharge the duties of his current criminal assignment."

Supporters of efforts to remove Persky from the bench welcomed the news. But Michele Dauber, head of The Recall Judge Persky Campaign, said the group will proceed with the recall election.
"We are relieved that Judge Persky will not be handling criminal cases, at least temporarily. However, he will still be a judge, and judges rotate annually in our county. He can still transfer back to hearing criminal cases any time he chooses," she said in a statement.

"The issue of his judicial bias in favor of privileged defendants in sex crimes and domestic violence still must be addressed by the voters of Santa Clara County. Furthermore, judicial bias is just as serious regardless of whether a case is civil or criminal. Many issues affecting women are heard in civil court every day. "

Earlier this week, Persky recused himself from making a decision in a different sex case.
Persky was expected to decide on Thursday whether to reduce a plumber's felony conviction for possession of child pornography to a misdemeanor. He took himself off the case, apparently in light of media coverage.

Nate Parker the victim

. Stop calling Nate Parker a rapist
In Parker’s case, the circumstances are especially murky, and the charges especially difficult to prove or disprove. The alleged victim, who had previously had consensual sex with Parker, had been drinking with him and his friend Jean Celestin at another friend’s apartment before going to Parker’s place. The young woman testified that she had only disjointed memories of being raped by both men while drifting in and out of consciousness. Parker and Celestin claimed that she willingly had sex with them both. Witnesses who had seen the woman that evening or talked to her on the phone gave conflicting accounts about her intoxication level. Parker’s roommate testified that he walked into the room to see Parker having intercourse with the woman, and she did not appear to be moving; however, there was some evidence that his testimony had been coerced under threat of prosecution.

.
Actor and director Nate Parker is disappointed that black people aren’t rallying to support him during his darkest hour.

In early August, Parker granted an interview to promote his new slave movie Birth of a Nation.

During the interview, Parker recalled a “painful moment” in his life that he would like to forget, but for the moment, it was necessary to retell the story to portray himself as the victim.

. But Parker left out the part where, while having sex with his intoxicated victim, he beckoned to his college roommate and another man to join him in running a train on her.

The mugshot of Brock Turner, a former Stanford University swimmer convicted of sexual assault in 2016, appears in a college textbook beside a definition of "rape."

Washington State University student Hannah Shum stumbled upon the mugshot while completing homework for her Criminal Justice 101 class. The criminal justice major posted a photo of the textbook page on Facebook, and the image quickly went viral.

The mugshot is featured on page 20 of "Introduction to Criminal Justice: Systems, Diversity, and Change" (Sage Publications), according to online texts published on Google Books and Amazon.

The caption beneath the mugshot reads:

"Brock Turner, a Stanford student who raped and assaulted an unconscious female college student behind a dumpster at a fraternity party, was recently released from jail after serving only three months. Some are shocked at how short this sentence is. Others who are more familiar with the way sexual violence has been handled in the criminal justice system are shocked he was found guilty and served any time at all. What do you think?"
