The former Spokane, Washington, NAACP leader who resigned in 2015 amid criticism that she was passing herself off as black says she is near homelessness.

Rachel Dolezal (DOH'-leh-zhahl) tells Britain's The Guardian newspaper that she cannot find a job and the only work she has been offered is in reality TV and porn.

Netflix released the documentary's trailer on Wednesday and was criticized for spending money to promote someone who is 'fraudulent and problematic'.

Why is she doing this? For the notoriety, of course. No one matters to Rachel but Rachel. Otherwise, she would have just slunk away and le[t her head down.

She is going to drive both her children, especially Franklin, away and there will be no one to blame but herself.

At first I thought the Atticus was a nod to the fictional lawyer Atticus Finch who defended a black man in the deep south in Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird. The spelling of Atticus was off so I was curious enough to poke around a bit.

Langston Attickus Dolezal. Langston, Ms Dolezal said was inspired by activist and poet, Langston Hughes. The Attickus however is a bit tricky.

Ms Dolezal states that the name Attickus was inspired by Crispus Attucks, a black man who is thought to be the first American casualty in the Revolutionary War.

Attucks to Attickus is a stretch but stretching a thing is nothing new to Ms Dolezal.

Not much as far as I can see, I think they are both the result of mental illness. Transgender being when the mind thinks it's a different gender to the body that it inhabits, trans-race being caused by 'white guilt' and an excessive amount of liberal media consumption. One minor difference is - If a man chooses to live as a woman and is happier that way, then I will respect their choice. But nothing is ever going to make me respect this wack-o-doodle or Shaun 'race-baiting filth' King.
