RIVERSIDE, CA – A man has been arrested after surveillance video captured him using his 1-year-old like a baseball bat to hit his girlfriend.

Last Thursday. Mike Ogden heard a man and woman arguing in the street outside of his home.

After checking his surveillance camera footage to see if it had captured anything he called police.

The video that was captured showed 27-year-old Techhoak Lim holding his 2-year-old son while arguing with his girlfriend.

Lim drops the boy on the ground then picks him back up. The argument continues and Lim can be seen throwing the boy on the ground again before picking him up to swing him like a baseball bat into his girlfriend.

He then throws the boy on the ground again and .the couple run in opposite directions as the little boy gets up and runs after his father.

“I mean it catches your breath. It takes your breath away, and then there’s anger, and then as a mother, it gets you upset. It makes you angry, you get emotional, and so that’s kind of the reaction that I had, and I’m sure the officers at the scene had,” said Detective Jerilynn Czobakowski with the Riverside Police Department.

After police found Lim he admitted to part of what he’d done while stating he was probably going to go to jail for what he did. He was right, of course.

Lim was arrested and charged with child endangerment with great bodily injury. He’s since been freed on a $50,000 bond.

The boy was treated for cuts, bruises and bleeding to his ear before being released into the custody of his biological mother.

As shocking as it is, this isn't the first time this has happened.
There is another story here.
It was a couple of years ago. It was a newborn baby and the baby died.

I'm going searching now.

Sorry, I'm unable to find it.
Let's call in the expert @GenericUser123 can you locate the story I'm referring to?

Asshat shouldn’t be allowed near the kid again till the boy is 16 and/or is able to knock his father flat.

I was telling myself that she was afraid he would try to grab the kid again and hurt him more, so she ran for help instead.
