I always dug Dateline presentations. THere's some weak ones, but overall i felt they do a good job. DOesn't hurt that Keith Morrison is the fucking greatest ever at any sort of news anchor/narration/storyteller type of thing.

I would say that the growth of the internet has hurt all these shows. Even if the show is solid and well told, i still can get far more details/facts far quicker by simply reading a good website/article online. Just makes it all the worst that the newest phenomena is to drag them out into epic miniseries, it's so bizarre they keep doing it. Making the Murderer is what started it, and now everyone feels it is just the way they all HAVE to be told. Irritating.

I hoppe i am killed in some mysterious crime scenario and Keith Morrison handles my dateline ep. That'd be my ultimate death wish, well if getting bit in half by a great white shark and then forcing all my loved ones to view a recording of it falls through.

I watched the murder video all those years ago and what does it say about me that I was more disturbed by the animal torture and annoyed by his complete arrogance?
