Take 6
A driver found the dead wildlife as she was driving along Wauchula Road on Sunday morning. The two juvenile gators were found on the side of the street with their tails cut off.

FWC says they are investigating the matter and will keep the gators in their possession to determine if a crime was committed.

In the state of Florida, it is a felony to injure or kill an alligator, unless you have a trapping license or a harvesting tag. It's also a felony to capture and keep an alligator or its eggs, unless you have a license.

I had alligator this past Saturday. It's been years since I last had it. I was still just as tasty as last time.

Sounds like someone wanted to eat some gator. Pretty sure the tail meat is the edible/most desirable part. :(
it is and not cheap but still, you don't just snatch baby gators like that. what I don't like about it is you have to process it chunk up is the best then soak in buttermilk or milk with mustard then grill it or whatever, it's good stewed in a cream sauce
