A man has pleaded guilty to calling the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line a total of 2,927 times.

During the time period between May 1, 2012, and December 5, 2013, Keith Lukas would call to complain that he was not satisfied with how he was treated in the past by HCSO and would use vulgar language and belittle the dispatchers.
[....]
Lucas would often call back multiple times, one after another just to continue abuse.

The Sheriff's Office filed a complaint with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office for Repeated Harassing Phone Calls.
[....]
Lukas pleaded no-contest in Hillsborough County Court and was sentenced to probation with a condition that he cannot contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office unless he has a legitimate need for law enforcement or medical services.
