Yes you may dress alike, but you are NOT one of those adorable couples that it works for.

The haggard bitch above, Patricia Ann Spann, married her biological daughter Misty Velvet Dawn Spann, and got in trouble for incest. But wait, it gets better (by which I mean worse)!!!

This marriage occurred after Patricia's previous marriage was annulled. The lucky other half in that marriage was none other than her own biological son!:jawdrop::stop:

This nasty ass bitch lost custody of three children... Two down...

DUNCAN, Okla. (AP) -

A woman and her daughter are facing incest charges after authorities learned the pair were legally married in Oklahoma this year, and that the mother had married her son a few years earlier.

The motivation behind the March marriage was unclear Wednesday, when 43-year-old Patricia Ann Spann and her daughter, 25-year-old Misty Velvet Dawn Spann, made initial appearances in Stephens County district court. Under Oklahoma law, marrying a close relative is considered incest whether or not a sexual relationship exists.

Neither woman had an attorney listed in court documents. No publicly listed phone number could be found for their home in Duncan, about 80 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.

According to a police affidavit, officers learned about the marriage late last month amid a child welfare investigation. Patricia Spann told a state child services investigator she'd lost custody of three children, who were adopted by their paternal grandmother, but reunited with her daughter two years ago. She said she thought a marriage was OK because her name wasn't on her daughter's birth certificate, the affidavit states.

Detectives later learned she married her son in 2008. He filed for an annulment 15 months later citing "incest," stating he was married to his birth mother, according to the affidavit.

Police didn't return a message seeking investigation details following the women's court appearance. Both women were being held on $10,000 bonds.

They should both be charged for sporting Superman like that. Because Superman does not support incest and would be ashamed of himself that these bitches have his emblem across their chests; a crime all on its own. Disrespecting The Man of all that is Super. *Smh

Bizarre. Did she raise and groom these kids to be into this shit with her or is there some other motive like some manner of monetary gain or crookery?

Misty Velvet is such a great stripper/porn whore name. Damn shame the girl turned out as hideous as she did, her one and only use in life will never be realized.

Oklahoma.

Because Superman does not support incest

Well to be fair he never really had the opportunity, he was the last of his people. He may have liked it if he tried it, no doubt a female supe under earths sun would be quite the animal in the bedroom.

I really wonder from a legal stand point,. According to the law, her parental rights were terminated. ..

Wait... fuck this ... here I am trying yo make some sense out of this.

I've typed & erased this 5 times already!
I just can't wrap my mind around this- at all! And that's prob a good thing!

Maybe these 2 marriages were just some kind of scam on the system rather than an actual love/sex type thing?

Yup, that's what I'm going with!-- then again I just ate breakfast & don't feel like seeing it again!:vomit:

***dying laughing*** my sister briefly had a roomie named "Velvet Misty Dawn" How the fuck do you name your child after fabric?!? :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
Velvet does sound soft and sweet compared to Polly Esther.

Could this really be a double case of genetic sexual attraction?

Even if it is... How utterly bizarre that both 'relationships' were consummated by an official marriage.

Misty Velvet Dawn? Shit that kid never had a chance. Mom gave her a stripper name; and it's all downhill from there. I'd name my kid Rover or Fluffy before I'd do that.

We always put "Doctor", "Senator" and/or "Professor" before his/her name. If it sounded ridiculous, we didn't use it! Think about it...Doctor Misty Velvet Dawn, Attorney Misty Velvet Dawn, Professor Misty Velvet Dawn. I'd change my name as quickly as possible...and hold a grudge against my parents FOREVAH!

Read jack read.

Nothing in the article, to include the section you quotted, provides any answer to the questinons i raised in this thread. Her losing custody of the kids doesn't mean that she couldn't have groomed them towards this type of sick shit while she still had them, damage coulda been done prior to their removal.

Don't fucking post again unless you have something of intelligence or worth to say. thanks.

If you were interested in knowing facts, you should read more than the headline.
Unless you are actually going to read, you shouldn't post. Just go on your merry way reading the headlines.
I mean after all, reading is the main vehicle that takes you thru the internet.

A mother and daughter were charged with incest after getting married in Oklahoma this year, authorities said.

Patricia Ann Spann, 43, and her daughter Misty Velvet Dawn Spann, 25, were married in March, police learned last month while conducting a child welfare investigation. Authorities later found out Patricia Spann had married her son in 2008, who filed for annulment 15 months later citing “incest.”

Both women appeared in Stephens County district court on Wednesday, the Associated Press reported. Under Oklahoma law, marriage between close relatives is considered incest whether or not a sexual relationship exists.

Patricia Spann told child service investigators that she had lost custody of three children, who were adopted by their paternal grandmother. She reunited with her daughter two years ago, the AP reported. Spann said she thought it was OK to marry her daughter because her name wasn’t on Misty Spann’s birth certificate.

Anyways, i think it's interesting that even though she had previously wed her son, the law didn't come down on the filth until after she wed teh daughter. Pretty clear cut, indisputable evidence that the people of Oklahoma find homosexuality more offensive and destructive than incest.

*dying laughing*** my sister briefly had a roomie named "Velvet Misty Dawn" How the fuck do you name your child after fabric?!?

After a fabric.....and a weather condition, and a time of day:p.

Anyway, I wonder if the sister went to the brother and gloated about being the favorite kid now.

Yer trying to make sense of this? Makes as much sense as an insane bald guy with some inbred relatives. Oops...shuttin up.

Ok, say she met her son and they were truly strangers to each other and had no parent son relationship at all and they were just victims of genetic sexual attraction and it was no ones fault.....You would think that years later when the chance to meet her daughter came up she would be like "fuck no, I aint meeting any more kids ever! I fucked the last one so its best I quit" Or did she think it would be different? did she go to the meeting all happy telling herself "no matter what I am not going to fuck this kid! thats in my past! no more screwing the kids for me!":bored:

*raises hand*

I think the parent in this case was trying to create a "family" with these people in the only legal way she could.

I haven't seen anything that states her relationship with either.. child.. had sexual or romantic overtones, and I suspect the son's claim of "incest" had more to do with just not wanting a relationship of any kind with this woman, whose quality of intelligence and judgement are both doubtful at best. Not to mention the face. And the legal marriage to your bio mom, which is weird. (Court docs could prove or disprove, though, and I am not calling the son a liar, this is just a theory.)

The question remains.. why? Why not just, idk, do generic parent stuff, rather than marrying them?

Was she planning to run a welfare scam, or an adoption scam, or smth? WTF was going on in that head of hers?!

The reasons for both marriages were published here... Also a little more info on how they were busted (unrelated child welfare investigation).

The union of Patricia Spann, 43, and her daughter, Misty Spann, 25, was discovered just last month by an investigator with the Department of Human Services.

Court documents say this is the second time Patricia Spann has married one of her children. She married one of her sons in 2008, but the marriage was annulled in March 2010.

Patricia told investigators that the relationship with her son was not sexual, and the marriage happened as a way to prevent him from being deployed with the military. She says she married her daughter in hopes of adopting a child.

According to KWSO, an investigator with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services discovered in August that the mother and daughter were married. WDSU said a child welfare investigation was being conducted.

Bond for Patricia Spann and her daughter was set at $10,000 each, according to court records.

Many of Patricia’s photos on Facebook also show a younger child with her and Misty.

Aaaah, now it starts to make sense. It's not even that bad of an idea, but she should have changed her last name first so it would't be so noticable.

A 26-year-old Oklahoma woman has been given 10 years of probation this week after admitting she had a sexual relationship with her 44-year-old mother that even led to marriage.

Misty Velvet Dawn Spann, 26, pleaded guilty to incest in Stephens County, Oklahoma, on Tuesday after the illicit affair was uncovered.

Her mother, Patricia Ann Spann, 44, lost custody of her daughter and two sons when they were kids. They were then adopted and raised by their paternal grandmother.

She reunited with Misty in 2014 and says the two of them 'hit it off' and started talking about adopting a child together.

They married in March 2016, after Patricia convinced her daughter that they weren't violating the law by being together.

But indeed they were, and just a few months later, in September 2016, the two were charged with incest after a DHS child welfare worker discovered the relationship.

In Oklahoma, incest is a felony crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Misty decided to take a plea deal, admitting to the relationship in exchange for a lighter sentence.

In addition to spending 10 years on probation, the judge also ordered her to undergo counseling and pay various court fees.

Patricia has pleaded not guilty to the charge, but has not yet appeared in court yet.

Her case has been delayed to February so that she could undergo surgery.

What's perhaps most shocking of all is that this isn't the first time Patricia has been caught in a romantic relationship with one of her children.

She also married one of her sons, Jody Calvin Spann, in 2008.

I know this comment is old, but I rarely fully agree with @JackBurton so I figured I'd voice my support this time.
I mean what if Superman's sister/cousin wound up on Earth.... they would have a chance to either repopulate their civilization or let it all die off.
